The Renaissance
We learned about the Renaissance in school.
Each girl was given a
Renaissance artist to research and do a project on to present to the class.
The
projects were amazing, lots of hard work was put in. We did a lot of art based
on The Renaissance.
We painted the Sistine Chapel like Michelangelo
(except we painted under our desks).
We created our interpretation of Leonardo
Di Vinci's Mona Lisa. Each girl was given a section of the painting. She had to
link up with all the other girls who had a piece near her, so as to make it
look more realistic. This was a difficult but enjoyable task, have a look at
our fantastic work
